By Andrew Stephens
Man, it really pains me to say this. I think GSP is going to lose his first fight in over seven years. The best pound for pound fighter on the face of the planet. The baddest man in the world is going to fall. Johny Hendricks is young. He's poised. He's confident. He also has one of the scariest left hooks I've seen in UFC history. He is also quoted as saying that he could out wrestle GSP. A bold statement from a humble guy always scares me. Hendricks scares the shit out of me. All it takes is one punch to connect and it could be lights out for the Canadian King.
I love GSP, he is one of my favorite athletes of all time. However, he has not been the most exciting fighter as of lately. He's not "Rush" to me anymore. He is so scientific, it's boring. He has won by decision in his last 6 fights. The last time he won by KO was 2009. That was four years for crying out loud! He's very smart and careful and I think that we'll  hinder him in this bout. I think Hendricks will be fearless and bring the noise. I think it will throw GSP's strategy off and force him to brawl more than he would like too. That of course depends if GSP can out-wrestle Hendricks. If that's the case possibly GSP could stretch it out and win by decision. I doubt that will happen though. It's the UFC. It's MMA. Every Emperor evaporates eventually.
Prediction: Hendrick by KO ( 3rd Round )
